My Birthday Present

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me…oops!  That was yesterday.  But the present that I love so much will be here day after day!  Why do I love it?  For one, my partner gave it to me.  For another reason, it’s so darn sexy!

A while dress with purple/blue details running throughout.  To be honest, I’m not sure what the details on it are, but I think it’s little delicate chains with coins hanging off of them.  It’s very delicate and pretty.

It looks as good in the back as it does in the front with a pretty open back that has the detailing across it.

Beautiful job, Velvet Rythms!!!  Keep up the good work.  Thank you, my sweetie!!!!  I love it!

Beau Monde

Psst…want something unique and beautiful that not everyone can get their hands on?  Then do I have a series for you!  To start things off, this gown is Alexis.  It’s a beautiful piece and is very limited.  Why is that?  It’s because the designer was specially commissioned to make the collection I’m going to show you.  They aren’t available in stores, at least not at this time.

This gown is sleek and sexy with a uniquely halter style top that wraps round the upper body and then again around the midriff.  It has flowing fabric that comes down from a circular silver ring in the front.

In the back, the fabric that was wrapped from the front is tied into an elegant bow.  The back is left open in a sexy and seductive manner.

So, how do you get this unique and limited item?  Contact Emma Portilo in world!  Don’t miss more items from this limited collection to be posted soon!

Newness @ Tuki!!!!

I just love hair.  I love when new hair has been released or hair has been put on sale.  I love when I have to style a new outfit and just can’t find the perfect updo.  I love hair!  This morning one of my favorite hair designers released 4 new styles.  Of course, I had to go and see them for myself.  I ended up buying 2 of the 4.  Go figure!  Hahahaha.

I purchased the Tukinowaguma Coop, shown here in red.

I also purchased the Tukinowagume Preem, shown here in Ebony.

The best part is yet to come!  It’s a bargain!  Only 10L for the dress and 10L for the shrug!  This great deal can’t last!  TP over and grab yours today!

Poses On Sale!!!

Just found another sale, one that I think has quite the bargains!  Poses!  Poses!  Poses!  The bread and butter of every model’s tool kit, not to mention photographers.  The poses are all 50% off and run $20 Linden each.  They are natural in their movement and I found quite a few that will work for the runway.

Wedding Dreams Do Come True

Are you preparing for an upcoming wedding? Wanting something dreamy especially for that day? Something that will make you into the most spectacular bride ever? Who doesn’t, right? Well, this dress from Miamai is going to blow you away! It’s all that and then some. I fell in love the instant I put it on. It’s called Dream, and with good reason. It’s like a dream come true.

The bodice is finely fit to the body, hugging every curve. The dropped waist is accentuated by fabric roses that are beautiful in their detail. The back is open as it dips low forming a V as it reaches the waist line.

Then there’s the skirt and train. On my. Words almost escape me. The beautiful skirt is all fluttery and flowing with beautifully designed lace and silks. Nestled in amongst all the finery in the beige of the gown is a white fabric. It gives the skirt and train additional depth and interest that draws the eye and gives it a feast!

This gown truly is a dream.  It’s so full and magical and beautiful.  Every bride should have just what she wants and who doesn’t want a dream come true?  This, my readers, is a dream come true.

Ballerina Princess

Ever wanted to feel like a ballerina or a princess?  At least dress as though you were one?  Evie’s Closet has so many beautiful, magical, fairy-tale like options for dressing like a princess.  Recently she opened a new photo contest.  I’ve decided to enter it for fun because the one of the outfits you could wear in it was so magical – it really caught my eye.

The outfit comes complete with crown and wings.  There are several options for wearing it, but I chose the longer more flowing style skirt.  The outfit is called Lyra.  It’s from Evie’s Closet.

To complete the look, I wore Paloma Point Ballet Slippers in silver by SLink.

The hair, by Tukinowaguma, is Princess Ebony.

The pose, a required part of the competition, is by :+:Studio Sidhe:+:.

Help with Hair for Haiti

This in from Maitreya:

On Jan. 12, 2010, a massive earthquake struck Haiti. It was the worst earthquake in the region in more than 200 years. The International Red Cross estimate that about three million people were affected by the quake and the Haitian Interior Minister believes that up to 200,000 have died as a result of the disaster.

To help raise money for the Red Cross International Response Fund we have set up a special pre-release of our soon to be released Sasha hair. The pre-release is in ash blond and in bistre black and they are only 50L each. All proceeds of this pre-release will go the Red Cross Haiti Fund.

You can find Sasha in ash blond and in bistre at the left side of the hair department entrance. There is also a Red Cross donation terminal at the tp spot, if you’d like to donate more.

This is the offering in bistre:

Help a great cause and get a little something special at the same time.  TP to Maitreya and donate generously!
